Dedicated followers as well as hundreds of new faces make his fan base undeniable and it continues to grow as Freshcut commits himself to throwing some of the most enjoyable Caribbean-themed parties around. Freshcut had the following to say about his new Youtube channel:

De Mayor TV gives you VIP Access to the behind the scenes footage from some of the hottest parties in the GTA as well as out of town ‘campaign dates’ wherever De Mayor is booked! Now I cannot speak on behalf of every other promoter in Toronto, nor can I predict the outcome of their events. I can only display what to expect when De Mayor is booked for an event or has an event of his own. You will get your money’s worth and TNA – Total Non-stop Action!”

De Mayor’s next event, Caribbean Scene Investigation (CSI): The Final Chapter will be held at The Vue Nightclub on Friday, March 14, 2014 and marks the end of the ten year long party-series. Although the curtain will close on CSI after this highly anticipated night, Freshcut makes it clear that, “the action will only get bigger and better with Soca Reggaelution, Pirates Of The Caribbean and Soca In The City, to name a few…”

CSI tickets are now available for purchase on TicketGateway.com.  Tune in to Freshcut’s Confunkshun Show on CHRY 105.5FM every Tuesday 6-8pm for a chance to win tickets to CSI and other upcoming events.

With a line up of over 20 of Toronto’s finest up and coming deejays rearing to perform this Friday night (Nov 8) in the city’s North West, BUSS: The All Canadian Stage Show is primed to be a huge success.

When the doors open at 10PM on Friday night,  the increasingly popular On The Rox Nightclub will undoubtedly be the best place for Toronto’s Dancehall fans to be. The night’s entertainment is nearly endless with acclaimed local deejays such as Eyesus, Sample King, Lindo P, Korexion, J Logix, Reese Badda, Fyah Lion, Triston Fivestar, and many others on the roster. Toronto’s top media outlets such as IETV, TorontoDeejays TV, ReggaeXclusive Magazine and others will cover the event.

The final show rehearsal this past Wednesday night received an overwhelming attendance by local deejays at various stages in their careers. Many were not slated to perform but came out to support their fellow artists and the growing Dancehall movement happening in Toronto. Event promoters include Mike “Yellow” Smith and Sandra Slyburne amongst others. The team is anticipating strong attendance and plan to make BUSS an annual event.

After receiving mild criticism for the chosen name of the event, Slyburne posted the following on Facebook to help clarify the intent behind the stage show: “BUSS, for those who are referring to the notion that artists can’t make it Canada, please note the show is not about making it Canada in reference to “as a reggae artists”. The show is simply put together by some Canadian business men who decided we should also appreciate our homegrown talent and named it the All Canadian Stage Show. The show is to encourage and build their esteem/artistic ability and provide a forum for this. The point is they live here, a stage show is planned and they are just looking for support and nothing else! I hope this clears up any confusion!”

With a purpose to genuinely inspire and encourage local deejays, the team behind the event has gained the attention and support of like-minded business people and organizations in the city including TorontoDeejays.com

The creators of BUSS would like to thank all of the artists and sponsors that have been involved in the planning and preparation of the first-ever All Canadian Stage Show.
