Rap superstar turned Reggae crusader, Snoop Lion (aka Snoop Dogg) has teamed with artists of different genres during his musical renaissance of sorts: Drake, Mavado, Popcaan and even Miley Cyrus. Now you can add an unlikely collaborator to this growing list, Eddie Murphy.
Snoop has teamed with the highly-acclaimed actor and comedian for a new Reggae single dubbed, Redlight. A video for Redlight was uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, showcasing Murphy in a recording studio singing his part of the song while playing a guitar and surrounded by background vocalists. Snoop can also be seen recording his part, which combines his singing and classic rapping elements.
Murphy has toyed with the music world before as he is remembered for his 1985 single, Party All The Time, a pop song produced by late music legend, Rick James. The song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
