Incarcerated Dancehall superstar, Adidja ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer will have to wait another six months before he knows his fate in one of his murder cases as the Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams murder trial has once again been postponed.

The trial has been pushed back to Nov. 18-Dec. 6 after the matter was mentioned inside the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates Court in Kingston Monday morning. Kartel was represented in court by attorney-at-law,Tom Tavares-Finson, who replaced Valerie Neita-Robertson as his lawyer in the case.

The polarizing deejay is jointly charged alongside Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Calvin ‘Moonie’ Haye, Kahira Jones, Shane Williams and Andre St. John in theClive ‘Lizard’ Williams matter. Each of the men are accused of participating in Williams’ murder at a Havendale, St. Andrew residence in August 2011, with the prosecution claiming they have video and audio evidence linking the men to the murder.

Meanwhile, Kartel’s next appearance is set for June 10th as he and two co-accused will stand trial in the Barrington ‘Bossie’ Burtonmurder case. The trial will reportedly commence as schedule despite a lack of cooperation on the part of its key witness. The men are charged with murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm in the July 2011 murder. Burton was shot and killed while walking alongside Gregory Park in St. Catherine.

Vybz Kartel has been afforded bail in that case but has yet to receive bail in the latter case, meaning that should he win the Barrington ‘Bossie’ Burton trial before the Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams trial took place, he would still remain in custody.

The self-professed ‘Worl’ Boss’ has been in jail since September 2011.
