Sean Paul song spearheads Jamaica’s Olympic campaign

Sean Paul’s single, ‘Hold On’ will be one of the Olympic anthems at this year’s Summer Games in London, England


Grammy Award winning Dancehall superstar, Sean Paul has unveiled a new single sure to rally Jamaica’s troops ahead of this summer’s Olympic Games in London, England.

The internationally acclaimed deejay recently released, Hold On, the third single from his fifth studio album, Tomahawk Technique. Hold On hails as an Olympic anthem for Jamaican and international athletes who aspire to achieve gold medal winning success at this year’s summer games.

Hold Onnot only pertains to the goals which Jamaican artistes have for these Olympic games but also provides inspirational messages for people to employ in their lives as they strive to achieve the best in whatever they do.

According to Sean Paul, he did Hold On to help Jamaica’s national team excel despite the many challenges that they’ll face.

The 2012 Summer Olympics or Games of the XXX (30th) Olympiad will take place between July 27 and August 12.

Meanwhile, Sean Paul continues to enjoy success throughTomahawk Technique as the album continues to boom locally as well as in Europe and Asia. Arguably the album’s most popular single, Got 2 Luv U (featuring Alexis Jordan)has sold over two million copies digitally and has placed in the top 10 in several European countries such as Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Romania and Spain.

Additionally, Roll Wid Di Don which as produced on hisMaterial Riddim compilation, has topped the HYPE TVcharts in Jamaica for six weeks running.
