Prominent Reggae singer, Sizzla Kalonji has shot a video for a single dedicated to the plights of mothers across the world.

With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, the internationally acclaimed singjay recently shot the visuals for his hit single,Mama Mek Mi Deh Ya So. The song, produced by Richard Bramwell of Breadback Productions on the Long Life Riddim was initially released in January in which Sizzlaspeaks of his admiration for the work the mothers and fathers have put in as well as the love that youths consistently show for their parents.

This isn’t the first single Sizzla has done honoring the sacrifices that parents, particularly mothers make on a regular basis. The Reggae veteran burst onto the mainstream scene with his 1997 single, Black Woman and Child and also captured hearts with the video for his highly acclaimed 2002 single, Thank You Mama.

Meanwhile, Sizzla recently launched his youth foundation on an international level while on tour in Europe as an effort to promote the charitable brand on a much bigger platform. Keeping with that theme, Sizzla’s Youth Foundation Museum is being built in the community of August Town.

His tour, which took him across Italy, France, the Netherlands and Austria, was branded a success as Sizzla continuously thanked fans for their support and prayers following his near fatal accident last summer while performing many of his classics.
