Serani to drop sophomore album this month

Serani will drop his sophomore album, ‘It’s…Serani’ on May 22

Internationally acclaimed Dancehall/Reggae singjay, Seraniseeks to stamp his authority on the mainstream music scene this summer as he prepares to release his sophomore album later this month.

It’s…Serani, taken from his notable catch phrase, will be available in stores on May 22; following up his debut album,No Games in 2007. Known for singles such as No Games, Doh (featuring Bugle) and She Loves Me, Serani’s new album will feature more recent club bangers such as Skip To My Lou, Badmind, Sweet Love and Naah Beg No Friendas well as some unreleased tracks.

Having enjoyed strong success locally and internationally since he emerged on the music scene five years ago, Seraniinsists that he’s grateful for all the accolades and support he’s received as he hopes that this latest project will continue this run of success.

“Give thanks to God and hard work pays off, that’s all I can say. I have been putting in a lot of studio work and hope the fans accept the new material as they have in the past. It’s a very competitive environment but I’m just staying humble and focused and trying to make great music,” he said via press release.

According to Serani, the compilation will answer the long standing requests that fans have been making in recent times.

“I’ve been touring all over the world and I am blessed enough to have built a good fan base across many continents. Wherever I go around the globe my fans have been asking for another album so we decided to give them what they wanted,” he said.

It’s…Serani will feature contributions from highly acclaimed producers such as DASECA, Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor and Razz & Biggy as well as prominent deejays,Ding Dong and Ishawna. Additionally, former G-Unit first lady, Olivia will feature on the album as she and Seranicollaborate on the single, Rub Me Up.
